Encapsulated menthol
ECOCAPS-MENTHOL PLUS are biodegradable aqueous-based polymeric (polycarbamate/polyurea) microcapsules contaning 15% of encapsulated menthol. With cooling properties typical of menthol, it can also be used as pain-reliever, antiinflammatory, anxiety-reliever and antimicrobial.
ECOCAPS-MENTHOL PLUS ensures high encapsulation stability of menthol phytoconstituents against early degradation and undesired interactions with others ingredients. It is dispersible in water without any external emulsifier.
During application, the product releases the menthol through the controlled breakage of some capsules when rubbed onto the skin providing a soft and smooth texture. However, others remain intact and will break gradually with continued friction and/or rubbing, prolonging their effect over time.
The smallest capsules ensure a sustained, long-lasting effect, enhancing both the activity and benefits for a prolonged skincare experience.
