Encapsulated grapefruit essential oil
ECOCAPS-GRAPEFRUIT are biodegradable water-based polymeric (polycarbamate/polyurea) microcapsules containing 30% encapsulated natural grapefruit essential oil. It can be used as natural skin healing, antiseptic, mood uplifting, antiinflammatory, antimicrobial and antifungal.
ECOCAPS-GRAPEFRUIT ensures high encapsulation stability of grapefruit phytoconstituents against early degradation and undesired interactions with others ingredients. It is dispersible in water without external emulsifier.
During application, the product releases grapefruit essential oil through the controlled breakage of some capsules when rubbed onto the skin providing a soft and smooth texture. However, others remain intact and will break gradually with continued friction and/or rubbing, prolonging their effect over time.
The smallest capsules ensure a sustained, long-lasting effect, enhancing both the activity and benefits for a prolonged skincare experience.
