- Description: Anionic high-molecular-weight amorphous polyurethane dispersion for the formulation of heat-activated adhesives.
- Application: Raw material for the formulation of heat-activated adhesives for different applications, such as textiles, furniture, automotive, footwear, leather, cork and construction industries. Due to its unique polymeric structure, it is particularly suitable for applications involving textiles with plastic substrates.
- Mechanism of action: It should be applied in both materials to be bonded. It is recommended drying both materials at room temperature and then activating the product by using temperature above 90ºC. Both materials are then bonded by applying pressure and afterwards they are left to cool down. The product will be irreversibly crosslinked after some days, leading to its maximum performance.
